Arthropoda
Arthropoda is the largest phylum in the animal kingdom, encompassing insects, spiders, crabs, and centipedes. These invertebrates are defined by their jointed appendages and a tough, protective exoskeleton made of chitin. As they grow, they must undergo a process called molting to shed their old casing and develop a larger one. They inhabit nearly every ecosystem on Earth, playing a vital role in global biodiversity and food chains.
